My name is Dami Oladapo and I am running for office in this beautiful city that welcomed me with open arms when I first moved here over a decade ago. I knew wherever I went, Mableton is Home! That is why many years later, my husband and I bought a home here and began raising our family.
Mableton has given me so much! I have seen the city grow and change, and I believe that I can use my unique perspective and experiences to bring valuable and new ideas to the table. Post city-hood, I decided to take an active role and be that eyes and ears on the ground for my community so we can keep taxes at bay, and fight for the quality of life we deserve. I am a candidate who will listen to the needs of the people, who will be honest and transparent, and who will work tirelessly to make the city a better place for all residents.
Humbly and respectfully,
I have been a part of this community for many years, and supporting all efforts to make it a better place. By fostering a sense of community and investing in the physical, economic and social well-being of our neighborhoods, we can create a stronger, more vibrant, and more inclusive Mableton for all.
A main concern about the extra layer of government in Mableton is tax increases, and my goal is to tirelessly work with the Mayor and my fellow city council member to keep taxes low and make our economy stronger.
I understand the importance of a strong foundation in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education for our youth. I believe that by investing in STEM education, we can not only prepare our students for the jobs of the future, but also give them the skills they need to be critical thinkers and problem solvers.
It is essential for residents to have access to accurate and reliable information about the actions and decisions of their government, in order to hold elected officials accountable and ensure that policies are in the best interest of the community.
If we join together and make our voices heard, we can make Mableton a better city for all!
